Just done recharging myself and I am now energized. Unfortunately, I wasn't keep up with one post per day, however, I will try to make it up during the weekend. Due to the lack of energy and focus, I was not able to post during the last few weekdays, I guess it's Thursday and Friday.
Anyway, I will try to finish up all my assignments for the course I have signed up on Coursera. Hopefully, I will be able to make it before the deadline which is just a couple of days away. I am actually currently reading and completing it while I am typing this post.
I have read some articles today, it seems like there are increasing surveillance on the world wide web, especially for those who loves reading and exploring on IT security. It seems like those people who be targeted to be under surveillance of authority. They have identified that terrorists seem to be the one who like to visit those websites and carry out certain activities which may cause harms to the society. That's probably the main reason reason they gave for this surveillance on websites that has got to do with IT security. Hence, if you are using Tor browsers, you are most likely under surveillance by authority. Therefore, I guess we will have to think twice which we are visiting sites which are relevant to authority. I don't know how true are the articles. However, it seems like there are people in Austria being arrested as he was operating Tor exit node. Yet, he may not be the one who is responsible for the criminal activities that were carried out. Due to the multiple layers of IP masking of Tor, it will be difficult to identify who is the ultimate culprit, hence, they have make it the responsibility of the one who is operating the exit node guilty as well. We are all entitled our opinions on such matter. However, my personal opinion is if one doesn't have the motive or intention of doing harm, he may not be guilty. After all, having a criminal record would definitely ruin one's life in the worse way. To be honest, most people who used Tor, may not be even conscious of the how Tor really works. Perhaps, it may be recommended by their IT guru friends who thinks that Tor is safer to use and introduce them to their friends. These people may be just using them without knowing what they are actually enabling the others (with the intention of harm) to do. Charging random people who operates the exit node is certainly not addressing the root of the problem. To me, it seems like this is more of shooting the target down on a hazy day.
Anyway, I will probably post the next Python programming tutorial later in the day, so stay tuned...
For now, I will go and have my lunch before I work on my reading and assignments.
