It seems like even though we have been taught to work hard since young, it does not always works in every kind of situation. Some times, no matter how hard you work, you are unable to achieve what you intended to. Of course, that would also depends on how realistic your aims are.
I guess there are many out there who feel this way, that their hard work seem to be all in vain. Sometimes things aren't all that simple, despite what they were presented to us. When you experience and came to a realization that there are more complications to a problem, often than not you would realize that it is not always true if you're willing to work hard, nothing can stop you from achieving what you want.
More often than not, we aren't aware of many factors that are affecting our daily lives. Even a stranger who walked past you may affect you in ways you can never imagine they would. Who knows the next minute you might be in an accident with the strangers who just intended to drive past you. There are always uncertainties. Things that are unpredictable. No one ever says that these uncertainties have a limit. Some fortunate ones may not have much problems with their lives and everyday are mostly peaceful and predictable. Once in a blue moon, they got things happened which are unpredictable. However, for me, there seem to be no limit to these uncertainties. Uncertainty seems like a better of putting it. In actual fact, it is more towards a series of unfortunate events.
Nothing in work seems to go smoothly. They can make to do repeated work for more than five times a day because of a minor issues like they prefer the report to be in a structure and realize that there is a better way of doing the reports. I have re-done it five times before I was allowed to send that out. Not only it is tiring, I learnt nothing from it except I have seen how such inefficiencies is detrimental to workplace environment. Not only in causes delay in the rest of the work. It reflects badly on how things are being handled in the department itself. Most organizations tend to prioritize those with the higher rank first, hence, everything in the office are prioritize by rank. When you think and analyze, things like the user number in the photocopier machine, why should you put the GM name first? Honestly, do you seriously think that they would even touch the photocopier machine? Those are the entry level employees job. Well, it is another example of inefficiency. However, we are not able to say anything about it, since it's not within our responsibilities. Furthermore, I realize that the more you voice out your opinion, the more troubles and bullying you would receive. It is best to shut your mouth, eyes and ears once and for all.
Even though I am pretty drained today, I am glad that I still managed to post something and jot down some of my honest thoughts. Perhaps as time past and I get seasoned to the rubbish and nonsense that are happening around me, I may not think this way anymore. Things might start to appear perfectly normal and I might eventually fit into my surroundings. When I typed all this, it feels like when that really happen, I'd probably disappear and living non-existentially.
No matter how well I did, it seems like no one would ever recognize your efforts. That is only natural. It's a place where you got to look out for your work and claim merits whenever it's possible in order to survive. No one would ever notice what you have really done, while everyone would notice what you have claimed to do. Learn and execute it that way. Perhaps, you would not feel so wronged after all you did. Sorry that I resort to such self-consoling. I don't have anyone to say this to me, hence, I got to jot down my thoughts and say it to myself. Perhaps, this way I could withstand these stress and environment for a longer period of time.
I hope to post one more later, however, it's already 12am. I have worked till late today. Unfortunately, I guess the most I could spare 30minutes reading and go to bed after that. I guess I won't be posting anymore today. I will try my best to post tomorrow and keep it this way throughout the week.
Have a good rest after a hard day of work or school. Oh, it seems like it's school holiday now as I have seen quite a number of teenagers wondering around town during lunch. time. No matter what, it's important to have a good rest after a long day of work or fun. Enjoy your sleep and we'll see you again. (hopefully)
