I am pretty much done with the lectures and I am left with two assignments and one essay. Here to take a short break before I proceed to complete all my assignments that I am supposed to complete. I hope that I would have extra time later to do up a tutorial later. That would be the best for my Sunday. However, I wouldn't raise my hopes and expectations too high as I would need to cook dinner for my family later as well. Let's just do things moderately.
Apart from that, today will be the last day of our short weekend, I hope you are enjoying yours. In fact, I woke up quite early today due to a message from my phone, I should have off my ringtone so that I can sleep in more. Once I am awake, I prepared breakfast for my family and proceed to wash the dishes that was left in the sink yesterday. After finishing some housework, I went to finish up my lecture. Before you knew it, it's lunch time and I got to prepare some thing for my family again since brother is unable to walk properly and mother is ill. Don't my day sounds hectic?
This coming Thursday will be a worrying one as my medical reports will be out. I hope that the reports will be a positive one. However, hoping is another way of consoling ourselves. This also would prevent unnecessary stress being built up throughout the period of waiting. I wonder how will my week be. Hopefully it wouldn't be too stressful and draining than all the previous weeks. It seems like work would take 90% of my energy. I wonder how are they going to settle their meals when I am not around. Perhaps I should go and get more instant noodles later.
I have read some disturbing news this morning regarding a retiree asking for her own money which is locked in a pension fund system which was supposedly to help in her retirement. However, I am not sure about the accuracy of the news and, hence, I will not comment much about it. The thing that surprised me was the person was working as a civil servant (teacher) and yet doesn't have enough for retirement. She claimed to be 76 and said that she would need to live 50 more years for her to have all her money withdraw through the currently system. This sounds pretty impossible to me. However, the important thing here is that more and more people is concern about such system which lock in quite amount of the citizen's income and yet the citizens have no right to withdraw any amount even if it's the case of emergency or funeral expenses. You may wish to dig deeper by visiting the website of the system itself. However, the news have been filled with voices of unhappiness with regards to the raising minimum sum to be locked in the system. It's quite depressing to see such news appearing everyday. There was someone who told me that when you are depressed, you shouldn't read the news too much because it's rare that news would report on something truthful and something to be happy about. Hence, reading the news may make one more depress and less hopeful of their society or the world. I am not sure how true is this though.
I guess I will just go and finish up the last bits of my assignments for now. Till later..
