I am not someone who can afford to spend some time to jog everyday due to my environment and schedule. Most of the time I will be spending in front of my computer at work. We all know that it is extremely unhealthy for us to just sit all day in front of our computer and work non-stop. Sooner or later, you will feel that walking a short distance might make you breathless. That's when you should know that something is wrong. I am not sure if I will get healthier with exercising, but one thing I know for sure is that, it drains away unnecessary energy which I do not need. Sometimes you get too frustrated with work, with life, jogging is one of the many ways to help in stress management. I am not sure how it helps others, but the pain derives from jogging makes me feel that the things I faced are simply nothing. compared to this.
As I am just a beginner in this, I won't comment much on the methodology which you should abide while jogging. However, I realize that warming up and cooling down is important and this is probably true for most sports. It feels difficult to run/jog a long distance if you are not warm up. However, once you get used to it, jogging/running seems to be an automatic process. It feels as if you could run forever ( I might be just exaggerating at this point.)
The only time for me to jog is during weekend. Normal weekdays I am waking late almost everyday to work and when I reached home, it is too late to go jogging and running alone. Recently., I see a lot of notice by the police regarding robbery, harassment and the list goes on around my area. Hence, I was advised not to go running once the sun sets. How unfortunate.
Well, I hope that everyone could exercise for a least a bit. It will definitely help in some ways. Though I know that it might be a waste of time for those who have too much commitments, health is really important for you to commit yourself in other things like work, family, studies and so on. This is especially true as the health care cost in this country is quite high comparatively. I have heard others telling me that it's fine to just die but it is torturing to be sick before you die. Seeing your loved ones suffer to get the financial means to meet your medical treatment. While you suffer endlessly trying to live and the pain you need to go through to recover. Sometimes, recovery rate is not even 70%.
Basically, I just want people to realize that their health is more important than anything else. It's weekend. It will be good for you to spare a little time, even one second is enough, thinking on health and consider exercising at least once per week.
It's weekend now, a Saturday. I hope everyone of you are enjoying your time and freedom during weekend. I know that some of us still need to work somehow, let's work sufficiently and have ample of rest.
Keep up with the smiles as you will make people around you feel comfortable as well. :)
