Today is a rather quiet one for me. I woke up around 8.30am today, washed up and made myself a cup of tea before I study. It was an easy day to focus and I learnt quite a lot today. I stopped at 12pm to find food since I am hungry. Well, seems like apple is my only choice. After eating the apple, I went to bath and relax for quite some time. I started reading around 3.30pm but realise I can't keep focus and decided to jot down my thoughts for today.
Here I am typing and wondering about how Vesak day had gone for others? Are the temples crowded today? If I am really curious, how am I going to find this out? The fastest way to find out when you are at home is through the internet. Bits and pieces of information are out there waiting for you to dig for it.
There is nothing extremely exciting for me today. If there is, perhaps, it's the fact that I have not had my lunch yet and it's 5.30pm (almost dinner time). Apart from that there really isn't anything interesting today.
I realise that it is a mistake to do up a post this early as I do not have a clear overview of my day. However, as I need to work tomorrow, I will probably sleep before I can do up a post later. I wonder how my day will be like tomorrow. There is a need for me to carry this heavy laptop back to work. If only the company provides ultrabooks to their employees, it will be easier for us to carry them when we are taking the forever crowded public transport.
If there is a way to improve my grammar, I am willing to sacrifice some time to try it. I had tried reading and writing more often, however, I do not see any significant improvements. Perhaps I should put in a conscious effort to be careful with every word I type. Also, I can re-visit them after every sentence. Of course, this will reduce the efficiency in my work. However, it may reduce my grammatical errors in writings and reports.
I wonder how many people uses a keyboard protector on their laptop. My guess is 90% of them will buy one when they are purchasing a new laptop. However, as time passed, most of them will give up using the protector within months of their initial purchase. It really hinders typing a lot.
Ok, I should stop complaining and start to think positively.
Hope you are having an enjoyable public holiday. Play hard and work hard for the rest of the week.
(Not sure about me.)
