Back from vacation: Approaching Year End

It has been a while since I last posted. Well, I have been taking up a couple of social media marketing courses and thinking of developing a better blogging platform tied with twitter and facebook account. However, I am still thinking of whether to revamp my current page or importing my whole blog a a new page. Anyway, it will probably not happen so soon, probably will take place one step at a time.

There have been a couple of new mechanical keyboard which I missed out due to my work schedule. I will try to catch up as soon as possible and review them once I get to experience them in store.

The games I have been learning to play now are both from Blizzard. The first is Starcraft II: Legacy of the void and Hearthstone. People around me seldom game and, hence, I have limited information on such games. Totally starting from scratch. Not sure if I should be playing casual game first in Hearthstone, because I have been playing ranked games these few days. As for Starcraft II, all I can say is: It is a difficult game for a beginner to pick up. I really have no idea I have been building in game. The easiest race to play is probably protoss, but I think for the game to be fun, the race to choose is zerg! However, I have never won a zerg game before. It seems like the army I have been building in zerg is always smaller than my opponent. Now I should read up on beginner tips and see if I could improve from there.

Study:
In 2016, the SkillsFuture will start for all Singapore citizens. I am looking forward to this as it helps those who want to take up courses to improve their knowledge and skills will be able to do so with a credit of $500. Although it may not be enough (depending on the course you chose), it certainly helps to reduce the financial burden on furthering your studies.

I think I did mention about taking up Masters in recent years after I have make and saved enough. However, there is a long long way to go.

Work:
It's year end and there will be a performance review in the orgnaisation soon. It will be my second performance review I attended in my life time. Not sure how it will go, but I did my best in my work. Even though there are some days which I could not stay focused (due to personal matters), I tried my best to submit quality work as much as I can. The only problem I have is not familiar with the process and "standard" ways of doing things in this organisation. There are many routes to achieve a purpose, however, some routes are more preferable than others. Yes, the problem with me is I can't identify which are these routes. That is why I get into trouble some times.

Leisure:
Star Wars will be showing in cinema in the coming two weeks. I want to go! Probably finding cousins or friends to go watch with me. However, since I am socially awkward, not sure if I will be getting anyone at all. No matter what, I will probably go watch it (treat it as a Christmas present I bought for myself.)
