Friday, Labour Day...A day of rest at home!

It's labour day today and I was hoping to have some rest. I woke up rather late today as I slept close to 2.30am yesterday. There are a number of things I need to do in this weekend. Also, I will need to increase my reading as much as possible for me to do my work well enough.

I went out for lunch when I woke up today, and shopped around for my mother's day gift. However, I came home empty handed simply because I couldn't decide what to get for her. There are a variety of choices but most are not practical. I was hoping to get something she would find useful but I do not want to ask her what she needs as it'd spoil the surprise. I can giving all the possible gifts some serious thinking. Probably, I will be able to decide by the end of the day. I am afraid to make the wrong decisions.

As today is a public holiday, if you plan to go out, be aware that everywhere will be crowded. I saw many who are unable to find a seat in the restaurant as they arrived a tad too late for lunch. Most are standing around waiting for empty seats and waiting for people to finish eating. I wonder if it is a good idea to be visit the zoo tomorrow. I think it probably would be crowded during the weekend. However, I just wanted to go for a walk, relax myself and clear some of my over-complicated worries away. I hope the trip to the zoo would help. Perhaps, I am just being random and different at times. I just can't tolerate having similar days repeating over and over endlessly. It'd probably drive me insane.

Have you thought of anything to get for mother's day? Have you been googling all over the place for ideas? I have done that and feeling silly to have done so. Reason being I definitely understand my mother more than Google does. Why should I do that in the first place? If I rely too much on Google, isn't it controlling the life of mine instead of my deciding on what to do.

Hope you are enjoying the public holiday. I think most countries are having labour day or may day this week. Smile and be kind...
