How to you deal with everyday stress?

I have been stressed out after around three weeks of work in my current job position. This is generally due to the knowledge gap and skills gap difference from my previous job position. I find it difficult to close the gap and the resources for my reference are severely limited. Hence, as much as I want to learn and improve myself to do my job better, it is really difficult for me to do that with the limited resources. Errors and misinterpretations are daily occurrences at work. These resulted in stress and losing motivation to work. Something has to be done to stop this. So I went out for a walk during this long weekend.

Yes, a walk in the Singapore zoo. How effective it is? I can say that it is rather effective during the weekend. However, the effect will wear off once you realize that you will be going back to work tomorrow. Yes, I am typing this on a Sunday. If this is not an effective method, then what is? My suggestion to this is mindset. Changing your mindset will change the way you look at your problems. Who knows, you might find a way to resolve it soon enough. I have received a message from my friend who is working in the education sector. Everyday is a challenging one for her. However, I can see that she is positive about the challenges and constantly seek better ways of coping them. It keeps her occupied by thinking and coming up with solutions which lessen the worries and stress she felt.

Do you have similar problems like me? I will be glad if you can share the way you deal with such problems. I will gain insights to this and pick it up if they are logical.

There are quite a number of sites giving advices on how to deal with stress from different encounters in  our lives. Whether or not these are effective depends on the individual. Exercising is one of the most common advices given by counsellors and most specialists. Even friends might tell us to go exercise to relieve stress and stay healthy at the same time. Did someone advise you this before? Well, my friends told me to do that. The reason why I picked up jogging every weekend since several months back. I know that not all of us have the luxury to exercise. We may not have enough time, or we simply do not adore exercising. Exercising is a good method, but it only gives a temporary relief. Worries tend to creep back into you as time ticks, when you realize you need to go back to work after a short night sleep. That's when the anxiety begins.

My only solution to this is your mindset, your thinking and your belief. Only us can change the way we think about our problems. In this case, changing the way you look at the problems you encountered might be a solution to your problem.

Sounds weird, doesn't it? Let us just try and see if this work. The only problem to this solution is that it's terribly difficult for someone to change overnight. We need time and persistent for this to work.

Thank you for reading till here. Enjoy the remaining of your weekend. Have a happy Monday tomorrow.

Catch you soon.
