My friend has sent me a message about how lucky people are being determined. Why some people are constantly lucky while others have consistent misfortune. The reason given in the message is we have the ability to control whether we are lucky or not. Most lucky individuals are generally relax and they are able to observe their surroundings better than those who worry too much. Hence, they tend to tap on opportunities that come across their way. However, for those of us who tend to worry a lot, we are generally lost and occupied with who knows what. We are unaware of the opportunities which are knocking at our door steps and let them slip by unknowingly. Hence, why should we worry? All of us share the same fate. The future is not within our grasp. The best we can do is only making reasonable assumptions and guess. Therefore, why the need to worry since the future is always an element of surprise to each and everyone of us. No matter you social status, your environment, your culture. Uncertainty is something that exist and is something relevant for every human being living on Earth across eras.
Having said that in the first paragraph, what I will be typing now will contradict my argument above so let me say something to defend myself. It is easy for us to reason out a problem and take a stand. However, to put the solution into practice is just not as easy. It takes time, practice, patience and perseverance. So I am still practicing and trying to see if this solution works for me. *Yays* Time to begin my ranting.
This coming week will be a long one for me due to an upcoming event. I hope to gain more experience after organising my first corporate event, picking up skills like communication and planning which will be useful in my career. It may not be the perfect but it is definitely a good learning experience. I hope to gain useful knowledge from this and put them to plan a better one in future.
After the event, there are other things that I need to rush out and work on. Even though I am still unsure of the procedures and my exact work scope, I hope to get used to it and be of a better help before my probation period. I know that this job might not be suitable for me, but I can not deny that it is a good learning opportunity. I will try to utilise this chance to the best of my ability and see where I can go from here.
I need to believe that the next lucky person is me!
Let's embrace ourselves for a new week and have a blast!
I will update this blog when I have more time. Thank you for reading and have a good rest.
Ciao~
