One More

Can't seem to be at rest.

I didn't expect to be posting twice today, however, I can't seem to be at rest. Rather than wasting more time doing nothing, I thought I'd better dot down some of my thoughts here. This is also to practice my writing and typing at the same time.

The reason I can't be calm and collected is something I am trying to find out for almost the whole day. Until now, I still do not know the reason why.

In the recent Apple event, there are a couple of products that caught my eye. Based on internet articles, it seems to promote much on the Apple TV as compared to the rest. However, I do not see the point of having a SMART TV at home. The usage of our home television is just extremely low. We are either busy studying or working. It has been years my family had the time to eat together and watch TV (except for Chinese New Year I guess). The products that caught my eye was the iPad Pro and iPad mini. I have been thinking to get a tablet. Mine has been given to mum as she wanted to watch shows during the break at work. It is interesting for Apple to include a stylus with iPad Pro. That reminds me of surface pro where keyboard and (possibly stylus) were sold separately. However, I do not think I will be getting the product anytime soon. Waiting for reviews will be a better choice. This is afterall the first generation of iPad Pro. Of course, I have another hidden agenda of waiting for the possible release of surface pro 4 this October before deciding on the device for me. What do you think of Apple event?

I'm planning to travel in November, hence, I am looking to buy something portable (tablet) with a reasonable processor for me to post up photos, videos and writings about my trip. Of course, checking my emails and work related information is also important.

Issues of cyber security are often seen reported in newspaper and online news articles. Do you think the internet is a safe place?

If I were the one to answer, I think not. However, the real world is neither a safe place. The world wide web, internet and technology had been integrated in our daily lives that we can not do without them. We can't work without them. We can't study without them. We can't communicate without them. It is just impossible to state all the inconveniences with the internet and technology. Hence, cyber security is the upcoming subject which is vital for the future. We need to know about the vulnerabilities and ways to protect ourselves when using the internet. This is just similar to learning to lock the door of your house when you leave for work/school. I think it is important and there is a need to educate the public about this. The initiatives are still lacking and there are more to do in this areas. Hope to see more of them in future.

Finally, I feel tired. I guess I can sleep well now. I will update again if I don't.
