How is your Chinese New Year? I bet most of us had a number of new clothes and had visited various relatives' homes for gathering and the festive greetings.
As for me, I do not have any fanciful photos of gatherings. The reason is I spent mine just like a slave. Cooking and tidying was the most part of this New Year. After that, we went to one of our relative's home knowing that I will not be welcomed. There is really nothing much to record down as there are nothing worth remembering in this Chinese New Year. The usual just happened and it will continue to until the elders passed on. This represents my Chinese New Year every year.
Don't you think that Chinese New Year is a time where people make the most comparison and discrimination? May be it is just my family and relative who do that. I am not sure about others, but I felt the need to change as I know I don't want to end up like them.
One more week to go until my entrance exam for the course that I had signed up for. Time passed so quickly and I have not even started preparing for the exam itself. I should start today or tomorrow to make sure that I have enough practice so that I reduce the amount of careless mistakes that could happen in the test. This is the only way to make sure I pass the test and start my course as early as possible. Humans do not have much time to spare. I believe that our life span is quite short to begin with. No matter how others argue that humans seem to live longer now compared to before. I still feel that it is too short. Hence, whatever I have decided to do, I should go ahead and complete that the moment I have time to spare.
After this public holiday, the next one would be in April. This means that during March, it is necessary for us to work for the full month if you are not planning on any leave. However, I might be taking two days off to go overseas for a couple of days. Of course, this couldn't be my idea, but it is my mother's idea. She would like to go overseas to relax for a little while. I guess it is due to troubles she is meeting constantly at work. It is impossible to get along with colleagues who just have bad personality. However, it is difficult for her to ignore their words against her totally. This is causing her mental distress and often depression. She wanted to quit and asked for my permission to. I wonder who would she do that. It is her choice. I wouldn't stop her if she want to do that. I will only work harder to earn more so as to support the family. The only unfortunate thing is there are little and almost no support for people who are at such disadvantage in the first place. I can only resort to not giving up and pray for supernatural power to land me a job which pays well or securing a part time job which matches my current timing.
It is already Sunday, the last day of weekend, the last day of our long break from work or school. Our break is as always so short.
One of the good things about having a blog is you can jot down your opinion without having consequences of say them out loud. It is almost the same as a diary, only difference is anyone can access it as long as they manage to find your blog. Of course, content is not private and is open for scrutinies and criticisms from every part of the web. However, it is the one place where you can jot down everything you think to your fullest extent without being interrupt. Of course, I know that I am bias, I prefer typing more than writing.
I think the post is getting a little too long. I shall stop here and continue some other time.
